The Gaiety Theatre in London succeeded the Savoy Theatre in presenting the shows which delighted Londoners most - a new form of entertainment called Musical Comedy. These shows by composers such as Lionel Monckton, Ivan Caryll and Sidney Jones are now being rediscovered. Our Arcadians last year was such a hit, we are so pleased to now present this concert of new favourites in an Edwardian house and garden in Sassafras in Melbourne's verdant Dandenong Ranges. Highlights from A Quaker Girl, Our Miss Gibbs, The Runaway Girl, The Cingalee, A Gaiety Girl, The Arcadians, The Mousme, Floradora and more!
