bring promise of merry sunshine, but they also may bring Showers as we have experienced.

Due to unprecedented weather forecast, we have made the decision to move our last performance to the Ferny Creek Recreation Hall, which is a 5 minute walk from The Knowe and has plenty of parking. The Hall is also surrounded by parkland and makes a lovely spot for a picnic in the Dandenongs before the performance if you wish.

 

If the weather is fine, you are still welcome to visit The Knowe (circa 1919) and garden from 12:30pm, if Covid Regulations permit, before going to the performance at the Hall which will be open from 1pm. You will still be able to enjoy a glass of bubbles or a cup of tea at the Hall.

 

The Ferny Creek Recreation Hall is fully equipped with accessible toilets and wheelchair access into the building.

A delightful concert celebrating the genius of Gilbert and Sullivan. In their operas they made many references to nature, flowers, trees, and the hope of merry sunshine. From “Comes the broken flower” (Trial by Jury) through “There grew a little flower” (Ruddigore) to extended highlights from Utopia, Limited or The Flowers of Progress, this will be a delightful concert full of some of your favourite G&S.

Come and enjoy a glass of bubbles or a cup of tea in the English garden, or inside the historic hills cottage, The Knowe (circa 1919) if Covid Regulations permit. Even bring your own picnic and luncheon on the lawn or under the 100 year old oak tree. Garden opens at 12:30pm.
