SUPPORT GILBERT AND SULLIVAN SOCIETY OF VICTORIA
Every year GSOV creates new productions enjoyed by audiences in Melbourne and Victoria. We hire professional theatres and present fully-staged productions featuring elaborate costuming, scenery, lighting, audio, a large cast and a live orchestra.
GSOV productions help foster Australian performing arts talent through these professional standard productions. Many performers go on to work professionally within the opera and music sectors, both in Australia and internationally, for organisations including Opera Australia and Victorian Opera.
A lot of work goes into creating these shows, which would be impossible without our dedicated team of volunteers who develop their skills and form friendships as they work.
We welcome your involvement to join us in these rewarding theatrical experiences, whether in the spotlight on stage, behind the scenes as part of our crew, in an offstage capacity or through your gifts.
